1. You can flip from SMS to WhatsApp when you want, but please note, you cannot use them simultaneously. So if you're confident that most of your leads and customers use WhatsApp, then this is a great solution!

2. If you are doing SMS marketing, don't use WhatsApp for mass blasts. We're not sure how Meta (as the owner of WhatsApp) will deal with mass marketing on WhatsApp so it's best not to try for now.

Are there any limitations to sending bulk WhatsApp messages?

While there is no limit for the number of messages you can send per day, it is important to consider that sometimes if you send spam, or inappropriate content, if your users report the number or if you don't have contacts added to the cell phone, the number can be blocked.

The easiest way to avoid it is to use the Lead Hero drip mode when sending messages to a list. Around 5 to 8 messages per minute is a safe bet.
