What are additional charges?
Your monthly plan covers your core CRM and automations. But some features — like sending texts, making calls, or using AI tools — have a small cost each time they're used. You only pay for what you use.
These charges exist because the underlying services (phone networks, email delivery, AI processing) bill us per use. We pass those costs on at cost price, with no markup.
The features that may incur charges are:
- SMS & Calls — outbound/inbound calls and text messages
- Email — bulk sends and premium workflow actions
- Content AI — AI-generated copy for emails, social posts and workflows
- Workflow AI — GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 executions inside automations
- Premium Triggers — direct integrations with tools like Slack and Google Sheets
- 3rd Party API Tasks — automation steps via Zapier, Make or Pabbly
Want to reduce or eliminate SMS costs? There are two WhatsApp options.
Option 1 — WhatsApp Business Add-on (£40/month approx. | $49/month) This connects your system to Meta's official WhatsApp Business platform. It runs alongside SMS, giving you an additional channel to reach contacts on WhatsApp. Per-conversation charges apply (see pricing table below).
Option 2 — Proprietary WhatsApp Integration (£49/month | approx. $62/month) This is our own WhatsApp integration — no Meta approval required. You connect any WhatsApp number (personal or business) directly to your account. It works as a full substitute for SMS, eliminating SMS fees entirely.
How does billing work?
Your account runs on a prepaid credit balance. When it hits zero, Stripe automatically tops it up based on your recharge setting. You'll get an invoice each time. Full transaction history is available on your Company Billing Page.
Charges are billed in USD and converted to GBP on your invoice. VAT is included.
Note that as our communication provider is based in the US so you will be billed in $USD, converted to GBP, so VAT will be included in the invoice amount.
Depending on your auto-recharge amount, every time your account hits a Xero balance, you will get an automatic re-charge for messaging credits, and will receive an invoice from Stripe like this:

A task is a single action inside an automated workflow — for example, sending
an email when a new lead is added to your CRM, or updating a record when a form
is submitted. Each step counts as one task. The more automations you run, the
more tasks are consumed.
